Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications in a modern microservices environment using Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and Kotlin. Build RESTful APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Jenkins, and write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Karate/Cucumber. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Requires 10+ years of Java experience, strong knowledge of microservices architecture, and Linux environments. Hybrid work model with one day onsite in Amsterdam.

- 10+ years of Java software development experience
- Strong experience with Java 8 and Java 11
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Strong experience with Spring Framework
- Strong experience with Spring Batch
- Strong experience with Spring Security
- Strong experience with JAX-RS
- Strong experience with Kotlin
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with HTTP and JSON
- Experience writing Unit Tests using JUnit
- Experience writing Integration Tests
- Experience writing API testing using Karate or Cucumber Framework
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with Git
- Hands-on experience with Maven
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins
- Hands-on experience with Ansible
- Hands-on experience with Artifactory
- Experience with Azure repositories
- Experience with Application deployment
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra
- Good knowledge of Linux environments
- Hybrid working model with one day per week in the Amsterdam office
