Job Summary
Senior Java/C++ Developer for market pricing and volatility management in wealth management. Develop, maintain, and enhance services for trading tools in Java; design and integrate solutions for FX Options, FX Rates, Structured Products, and Derivatives. Collaborate with traders, quants, and analysts to deliver robust, low-latency software; on-call duty. 5+ years in Java (Java 11+), Spring, JMS, JPA, Maven; TDD with JUnit/Mockito; experience building scalable banking/trading apps in Agile/SAFe. Proficient with messaging (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ), JSON/Thrift formats, and financial market data feeds. Experienced in microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) with CI/CD (Jenkins, Grafana, Octopus). Relational DB design/development (Oracle, Hibernate). Knowledge of security, observability, capacity management, and full lifecycle development. Collaborative, self-motivated, able to deliver complex changes autonomously in a fast-paced setting. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science; ideally complemented by financial product training and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Headquartered in Zurich; 12-month contract with potential extension; external payroll partner.
