Job Summary
Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Build and enhance RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems; participate in system design and technical reviews; write clean, efficient code; optimize performance, scalability, and reliability; develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests; collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders; troubleshoot production issues; participate in Agile ceremonies. Requires 8+ years of Java experience and hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and SQL databases. This is a hybrid role with onsite presence in the Atlanta or New York office at least 2 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17+)
- Hands-on expertise in backend development using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST API design
- Experience with SQL databases
- This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in the Atlanta or New York office at least 2 days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
- Experience with AI/ML integrations.
- Exposure to Data Engineering or Big Data technologies.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
