Job Summary
Design and develop Java applications using Java and Spring Boot, translating business requirements into technical solutions that follow best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance professionals to ensure clear communication and smooth delivery across the software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot and debug technical issues by analyzing logs, using debugging tools, and implementing fixes for defects and performance bottlenecks. Support quality through unit, integration, and system testing, including writing test cases, executing tests, and reporting defects. Commit to continuous learning by staying current with Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices through training, certifications, and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience in Java application development, with a proven track record of building and supporting large-scale enterprise applications with significant business impact.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful API development.
- Experience developing and supporting distributed systems and service-oriented architectures in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including data modeling, query optimization, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including SDLC, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and version control.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing, batch processing, or analytics workloads is nice to have.
