Job Summary
Design and develop high-performance web and services applications for global financial commerce infrastructure, processing up to 1000 transactions per second. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement technical solutions, define architectural direction, and execute complex development tasks including unit, regression, and system integration testing. Ensure system resilience by creating monitoring and logging solutions while participating in on-call availability for production hand-over. Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, support estimation efforts, and drive knowledge transfer within the Agile Scrum delivery process.
Required Qualifications
- Irish/EU Passport/Stamp 4 Visa
- 3 - 5 years' experience in designing and developing web and services based applications
- Full stack development experience
- In-depth experience with standard full stack technologies: Spring, Spring-Boot, Spring-Web, JSF, JPA/Hibernate, REST, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap
- Excellent knowledge in JEE/Spring, JAVA 8, Shell-Scripting
- Extensive knowledge on modern, relational databases (Oracle)
- Experienced in runtime, build and deployment technologies and state-of-the-art project tools: CI/CD, GIT, Maven, Eclipse, JIRA and Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science, business informatics or mathematics
- Ability to communicate clearly to business analysts and stakeholders as well as technical-representatives
- Very strong and proven communication and coordination skills
- Open-minded and determined
- High on social skills, team spirit and empathy
- Willingness to take ownership
- Ability to show strong personal commitment for the department and the team goals
- Must be comfortable with being considered a reliable and proactive influential team member
- Not afraid to take on responsibility in the team
