Job Summary
The Senior IT System Administrator maintains and optimizes IT infrastructure including Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, server maintenance, virtualization, and Azure cloud services. Responsibilities entail administering Active Directory and Office 365, managing servers, optimizing virtualization platforms, ensuring IT security, and supporting network infrastructure. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, over 10 years of experience in IT system administration, and proficiency with key technologies. Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT system administration with a focus on Active Directory, Office 365, server maintenance, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, security, and networking preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, VMware/Hyper-V, Azure, and network management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
