Job Summary
Install, configure, and support routers, firewalls, managed network switches, wireless equipment, PCs, printers, and scanners for customers in the Southern Region of West Virginia. Assist Senior Network Engineers with planning and implementing IT solutions, including structured and wireless cabling installations. Most duties can be handled remotely, but travel to customer sites in counties below Fayette, Kanawha, and Putnam is necessary. This role supports the GST client base established over 25 years, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or Information Systems or equivalent military or industry experience with at least 5 years' experience
- A+ certification
- Network+ certification
- Security+ certification
- Cisco certification
- Windows experience
- Experience in configuring routers, firewalls, and managed switches

- Good communication and interpersonal skills including ability to speak and work proactively with customers and other employees

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to submit to and pass applicable background checks
