Job Summary
Senior IT Project Manager required for a contract-to-hire role in Nashville. Leads cross-functional IT initiatives from initiation through delivery, including system implementations, integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and product launches. Owns project planning, scope, timelines, financials, and deliverables; identifies and mitigates risks, issues, and dependencies; partners with executives to ensure alignment; facilitates governance meetings and executive updates; drives continuous improvement of project management practices; mentors team members; manages vendor relationships and supports contract execution.
Required Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Agile/Scrum certification
- 10+ years of IT project management experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
- Leadership mindset with a servant leadership approach
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
- Expertise in risk management, budgeting, and project delivery
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
