Job Summary
Senior IT Project Manager/BA Coordinator responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile and hybrid project teams with a focus on delivering value for Medicaid MMIS initiatives. Responsibilities include defining project scope and schedule, risk and issue management, stakeholder communications, and governance; mentoring and developing teams; supporting Product Owner functions; and overseeing vendor performance. On-site role in Lincoln, NE with no remote work option; requires strong leadership, communication, and expertise in project/ program management, enterprise software lifecycles (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile), and tools such as Jira/Confluence, Workfront, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Visio, and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, public administration, business information systems, or a field related to the functions of the hiring agency
- seven years of experience as a project manager/program manager with the responsibility to oversee the coordination, planning, initiation, and completion of major/long-term projects OR Five years of experience and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) OR Seven years of experience working on complex projects
