Job Summary
Lead sourcing initiatives, competitive bid events, and supplier evaluations while negotiating commercial terms, contracts, and Statements of Work for software, cloud, and professional services. Partner with business stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and support technology investments. Analyze spend data to identify cost savings, supplier consolidation, and value creation opportunities across software, SaaS, infrastructure, and managed services categories. Collaborate on procurement governance, compliance, and continuous process improvement to drive operational efficiency. This role supports the Data, Digital & Technology organization within Takeda's global pharmaceutical mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
- 4–6 years of IT Procurement, Technology Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management experience
- Experience negotiating technology and software agreements
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and procurement systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries
- Knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, cloud, managed services, and technology contracting
