Job Summary
Senior IT Performance/Process Improvement for FinOps to support cloud financial operations. You will track and reconcile cloud spend against contracts, monitor RI/CUD usage, manage cloud invoicing and POs with Procurement and Finance, and promote dashboards and documentation to support audits and leadership decisions. You will identify opportunities to improve financial and operational processes related to cloud usage, cost management, and vendor governance. Collaborate across Finance and IT to align on initiatives and governance, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance reporting efficiency. Will provide insights into cloud spend trends, commitments, and variances to inform decisions. This is a remote role with potential travel, supporting a cross-functional FinOps function."
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Progressive experience in performance/process improvement, financial operations, FinOps, cloud financial management, or related disciplines
- Strong experience with financial analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and budget tracking
- Experience with cloud financial constructs such as Reserved Instances (RIs), Savings Plans, or Committed Use Discounts (CUDs) or equivalent models
- Proficiency with Excel and other financial or business intelligence platforms
- Experience partnering with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Vendor Management
