Senior IT Manager

Job Summary
Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and governance practices while partnering with executive leadership to align technology roadmaps with business objectives. Lead a small internal IT team and manage third-party vendors, overseeing enterprise operations across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud infrastructure. Drive operational excellence by managing departmental budgets, preparing executive dashboards, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and cybersecurity standards. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and provide consultative support to internal users and external clients utilizing laboratory information systems. This role supports both internal employees and external clients utilizing Vizia's laboratory information system (LIS) data transfer technologies and interoperability solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience within a healthcare environment
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing IT teams
- Strong expertise with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- This position is based onsite in Alpharetta, Georgia
- occasional travel (up to 10%) to meet with clients and business partners
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or stairs
- Use hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate, and operate equipment
- Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic devices
- Maintain visual acuity for both near and distance vision
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology operations within a healthcare laboratory or pathology environment
- Experience with: NovoPath 360
- Experience with: NovoPath Interoperability Platform (DXE)
- Experience with: HL7
- Experience with: FHIR
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent
