Senior IT Manager

Job Summary

Oversee and supervise all IT Help Desk and Facilities support requests across multiple offices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of responses. Administer the M365 environment, including Active Directory, Defender, SharePoint, Intune, and Exchange, while serving as primary on-call support for Tier 1 to Tier 3 requests via ticketing systems, Slack, and email during business hours. Lead incident response efforts for cybersecurity events and technology outages, coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits, and ensure all remediations align with CIS, NIST, SOC, or SOC2 compliance standards. Manage IT policies, procedures, and operational standards, support the Director of Technology with project management and budget development, and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors. Lead onboarding and offboarding procedures in partnership with HR and supervise the Systems Administrator. This role supports the evolving needs of the ILRC's growing IT team across three time zones, with a hybrid work model requiring two in-office days per week.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience in technical roles
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in non-profits
  • Excellent Mac and PC proficiency
  • Exceptional time management and ability to meet fast paced deadlines
  • Ability to seamlessly and calmly multitask and the ability to reprioritize based on internal or external forces
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, facilitation and presentation experience, and ability to communicate complex technical topics to people with a wide range of digital literacy
