Job Summary
Senior IT Internal Auditor at Element Fleet Management. Lead and participate in IT audit engagements including IT General Controls over financial reporting, controls testing, and advisory projects. Document observations, recommendations and management action plans; perform IT walkthroughs; evaluate processes with process owners; develop risk-focused audit plans to ensure proper control design and operational effectiveness; collaborate on management-requested risk mitigation activities; leverage IT audit concepts and best practices to support governance and risk management. Relevant skills include IT SOX testing, GITCs, application controls, SoD assessments, SAP/GRC familiarity, strong communication and analytical abilities, and integrity and adaptability. Location: Toronto, ON. Salary range: $76,300–$104,900 CAD annually based on location and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an internal audit or internal controls department at a publicly traded company and/or a public accounting firm
- Experience executing IT SOX audit activities (e.g. testing and designing GITCs and Application Controls)
- Working knowledge of IT audit concepts
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong analytical background with structured problem-solving using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Preferred: CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CPA certifications
- Experience with SAP environments and SAP GRC, including SoD assessments (preferred)
