Senior IT Integration Consultant

Job Summary
Analyze business and technical requirements to design integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and document integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration and SAP BTP services. Develop integrations across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments while contributing to API-led patterns and interface governance. Provide second and third-level support for integration incidents, monitoring alerts, and operational issues. Ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to standards while communicating proactively with stakeholders and vendors. This role reports to the Head of Integration Services in Budapest and involves collaboration with external consultants and a global team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as a Senior integration developer, technical consultant, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration / SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite
- Experience working with the SAP BTP platform, including subaccounts, connectivity, destinations, security concepts, monitoring, and role assignments
- Development experience with integration flows, message mappings, Groovy scripting, XSLT, XML, JSON, and reusable integration components
- Experience with protocols and adapters such as AS2, REST, SOAP, HTTPS, OData, IDoc, SFTP, and JMS
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios and common ERP processes
- Understanding of API management, authentication, certificates, OAuth, basic integration security, and error handling
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken
- Structured, detail-oriented, and committed to documentation, quality, and operational stability
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in global and multi-cultural organizations
Desired Qualifications
- ABAP development experience is an advantage
