Senior IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst - Research Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Oversee technical design, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance documentation. Coordinate enterprise-wide risk assessments, remediation efforts, and continuous monitoring while developing and disseminating security awareness training. Manage network, operating system, and application compliance audits, supporting secure research environments involving Controlled Unclassified Information and export control reviews. Administer security infrastructure tools, analyze data to provide management reports, and represent Information Security on cross-enterprise matters. Lead team members, establish operational plans, and provide guidance on policy interpretation and secure data handling practices.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree
  • six years of related IT experience
  • demonstrated expertise in multiple information security domains
  • project management skills
  • equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Excellent project management and team participation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule
  • This role requires residency in the state of GA
