Job Summary
Senior IT Engineer responsible for leading the first dedicated IT implementation function for Dandy's new dental-vertical; remotely manage end-to-end dental-practice implementations from contract to go-live, optimize onboarding processes, configure PMS integrations (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve, Open Dental, Denticon), set up remote access and network configurations, and collaborate with MSPs and cross-functional teams to improve onboarding efficiency and quality. Must manage AWS-hosted VMs and ETL pipelines, handle high-volume implementation workloads (20+ concurrent projects), and communicate clearly with IT leadership and office staff. Nice-to-haves include healthcare/dental exposure and familiarity with HIPAA; potential path toward sales engineering/solutions consulting.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in an IT implementation, technical onboarding, or field/remote support role
- Hands-on experience with dental practice management systems (PMS) — you know how practices actually run their technology
- Strong working knowledge of remote access tools (TeamViewer, RemotePC, Splashtop, AnyDesk, or equivalent) and network fundamentals
- Experience managing a high-volume workload — you've handled 20, 30, 40+ concurrent implementations and know how to keep quality high across all of them
- Clear, confident communicator — equally effective explaining a network issue to an IT director and walking a front desk coordinator through a setup step
