Job Summary
Senior Network IT Engineer responsible for designing and implementing enterprise LAN/WLAN networks, leading complex projects, and providing expert-level support across global sites. Collaborates with internal teams and external partners, contributes to architectural decisions, and drives continuous improvement with automation. Under general supervision, supports, maintains, and configures global communications infrastructure; manages LAN/WLAN architecture (Cisco), performs installations/MACs/upgrades, coordinates VoIP setup and SIP Trunking, utilizes QoS/VLANs/OSPF/ BGP/HSRP, communicates with managed service providers and internal stakeholders, creates on-site documentation, monitors network performance, evaluates and researches products, drives incident resolution and problem management, automates network tasks, leads complex network projects globally, and maintains technical network diagrams and documentation. Travel to plants globally may be required. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and CCNP or equivalent, 5+ years of enterprise network experience, strong LAN/WLAN and Cisco device expertise, and excellent communication; English proficiency is required. Nice-to-haves include OT manufacturing network security, Cisco ISE NAC, Cisco VoIP, and network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform). Proactive learning and development mindset emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related equivalent work experience
- CCNP or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of network engineering experience with large enterprise network environments
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WLAN architectures, routing protocols, and network security firewalls
- Hands-on experience with planning, implementation, and administration of Cisco network devices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to assess and deploy technologies to meet diverse business needs
- Ability to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and apply ITSM Operations standards
- Must have the ability to explain technical topics to IT and non-IT colleagues
- Eagerness to learn and develop
- Experience securing OT manufacturing networks (Nice to have)
- Experience using Cisco ISE to implement Network Access Control (Nice to have)
- Experience with Cisco VoIP systems (Nice to have)
- Network automation experience (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Travel to plants may be required
- Advanced level of English
