Job Summary
Senior IT Systems Engineer responsible for core enterprise platforms (Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack), leading SaaS strategy and AI enablement, and owning architecture/governance for a broad SaaS ecosystem. You will drive automation, perform regular audits, develop and maintain documentation, mentor junior engineers, and act as a technical expert across 30+ SaaS tools. The role emphasizes the design, planning, implementation, and performance tuning of enterprise application systems, with a focus on enterprise velocity and security posture in a hybrid/distributed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional IT systems experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as Atlassian SME managing Jira and Confluence
- Administration of Google Workspace and Slack
- Experience with SaaS Management Platforms (e.g., Productiv, Lumos, Torii)
- AI fluency or demonstrated interest in using AI tools to increase engineering velocity
- Okta or IAM experience a significant plus
- Ability to support infrastructure and automation teams
- Versatility in managing 30+ SaaS platforms
