Job Summary
The Senior IT Engineer will deploy, configure, and maintain server operating systems and enterprise applications including Windows Server and Linux. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing Microsoft Active Directory, and overseeing disaster recovery procedures. The role requires strong expertise in virtualization with Hyper-V and VMware, as well as cloud platform integration. A Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and a minimum of 5–7 years' relevant experience are essential, alongside proficiency in system management tools and scripting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with written and verbal communication skills in English, are critical for success in this position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in managing Windows Server OS (2016 and above), Linux servers, and enterprise computer systems
- Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)
- Proficient in using backup solutions, AD management tools, system monitoring tools, and patch management systems
- Working knowledge of SAN storage solutions, specifically NetApp or EMC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues
