Job Summary
Senior IT Engineer at Amplitude responsible for IT automation and workflow engineering (Okta Workflows as the primary engine) across onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, SaaS license management, and compliance workflows. Own full Okta configuration surface including SSO, SCIM, group rules, adaptive MFA, and lifecycle automation; design, implement, and troubleshoot SAML 2.0 and OIDC federation across enterprise SaaS; administer macOS device management via Kandji with zero-touch provisioning and policy enforcement; drive AI-assisted IT operations by evaluating AI-native tooling and building AI-powered automations; manage Google Workspace administration and Workspace-to-Okta provisioning; support SOC 2 evidence collection and access review automation; own end-to-end onboarding/offboarding lifecycle across Okta, Google Workspace, Kandji, and broader SaaS stack; maintain documentation and runbooks; partner with IT Security, Engineering, People Ops, and Finance on high-impact projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years in IT systems engineering
- Hands-on depth in Okta/IdP administration and SAML/OIDC federation
- macOS endpoint management (Kandji or Jamf)
- Google Workspace administration
- IT automation and integration
- SOC 2/compliance operations
- Strong Python/Bash skills
- Ability to work independently and own projects end-to-end
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
