Job Summary
Lead the implementation, support, and continual improvement of the organization's endpoint infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. Translate business needs into technical requirements for endpoint engineering projects, cost-saving initiatives, and system enhancements. Manage the lifecycle of endpoint hardware and software, ensuring accurate tracking in the CMDB for compliance. Serve as a point of escalation for complex endpoint issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions. Provide on-site or virtual assistance with deployments, troubleshooting, and associate training. Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Applications, and Security teams to prepare associates for new technology deployments and ensure consistent compliance with security protocols. Mentor team members and lead initiatives in collaboration with the Endpoint Engineering team to drive standardization and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Broad experience administering and supporting Windows, Apple, and Android devices, including desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, Java, and system administration tools
- Experience with endpoint technologies, security updates, driver configurations, and system patching on PCs
- Hands-on use of remote administration and screen sharing solutions for troubleshooting and user support
- Strong understanding of Windows security updates, driver and system patching, and PC hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
- Self-directed critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining composure under pressure
- Flexible and responsive to evolving business needs, willing to work additional hours or travel as required to support business priorities and operational continuity
- Must be able to visit and comfortably work in a plant, warehouse, distribution center or other manufacturing facility
