Job Summary
The Senior IT Change Control Analyst oversees the change management process, monitoring the change request queue for timely and efficient processing. Responsibilities include reviewing change requests for conflicts, collaborating with stakeholders for optimal scheduling, leading Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, and maintaining documentation for compliance. The role demands 5 years of experience in IT Change Management, knowledge of ITIL processes, and strong communication and analytical skills. A Bachelor’s degree and ITIL Foundation certification are mandatory, and a full understanding of IT systems and project management is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship due to Department of Defense restrictions.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience.
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in IT Change Management, IT Operations, or a related IT Service Management (ITSM) role.
- 2 or more years with ITSM Change Management processes, including planning, reviewing, and coordinating change requests.
- Current ITIL Foundation 4 certification or obtained within 1 year of service.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Incident Management and Major Incident Management processes.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, tools, and infrastructure, including servers, networks, applications, and production environments.
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid stakeholder engagement, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Project management experience involving coordination of cross-functional IT initiatives or deployments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications
- 7 or more years of progressive experience in IT Change Management, IT Operations, or a related IT Service Management (ITSM) role.
- 5 or more years with ITSM Change Management processes, including planning, reviewing, and coordinating change requests.
