Job Summary
Partner with business stakeholders to translate objectives into technical requirements for Trading & Supply technology initiatives. Gather, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements while analyzing current processes to identify improvement opportunities. Evaluate solution options by assessing business value, feasibility, risks, and impacts, then develop and maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate closely with developers, software vendors, architects, and project teams to drive solution design, testing, and implementation, ensuring requirements remain traceable. Lead business analysis activities across multiple initiatives while balancing scope, schedule, cost, and quality within Agile delivery teams. This 12-month contract-to-hire role supports modernizing critical capabilities for commodity trading organizations using the Endur platform.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of corporate IT experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Strong experience supporting Trading & Supply organizations
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Endur platform
- Experience with one or more of the following: Cmotion
- Experience with one or more of the following: Deal Capture (Front Office)
- Experience with one or more of the following: Settlements & Accounting (Back Office)
- Experience with one or more of the following: Tax
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent US Resident
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite at One Thousand Main in downtown Houston
