Job Summary
Senior IT Assurance & Compliance Specialist responsible for end-to-end IT audit and regulatory-review preparation, gap assessments against evolving requirements, and driving remediation plans to closure. Acts as the Subject-Matter Expert for IT compliance across the company, translating regulatory requirements into practical implementation guidance for technical teams. Maintains audit-ready documentation, evidence repositories, and compliance registers, and contributes to IT and Security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and real-world applicability across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in IT compliance, IT audit, or information security governance
- Experience in FinTech, banking, or another regulated industry
- Hands-on experience conducting gap assessments and building remediation plans
- Working knowledge of at least two of: DORA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, or similar frameworks
- Ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous IT compliance tasks
- Strong communication skills — translate regulatory requirements for technical teams and regulators
- Attention to detail for documentation: evidence packages, policy versions, control registers
