Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN services while configuring routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor servers in virtual and cloud environments, manage Linux-based systems, and lead the deployment of security tools such as IDPS, SIEM platforms, and access control systems. Perform regular risk assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing to mitigate technical risks. Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and manage staff onboarding and offboarding processes for secure provisioning and de-provisioning. Participate in security incident investigations, provide technical mentorship to junior staff, and support departmental needs like deploying off-site networks for events. Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on network implementation and technical security
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
- Extensive experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Extensive Linux knowledge
- Experience with Virtualised Environments (VMWare, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker)
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with EDR tools and cloud security environments (AWS, Azure)
- Comp TIA Linux+ (or similar), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+
