Job Summary
Senior ISSO responsible for security posture, authorization artifacts, and ongoing compliance for a federal technology and data program. Lead development and maintenance of security authorization artifacts and documentation; coordinate with engineering and operations teams to assess vulnerabilities, remediation activities, and security controls; support continuous monitoring, cybersecurity scanning, and risk management; ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity, privacy, and cloud security requirements; provide security guidance to program leadership and project teams supporting system authorization and sustainment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in information security, cybersecurity, or information assurance
- One or more relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, cloud security certification, CISSP, or CISM
- Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks, privacy requirements, and continuous monitoring practices
- Experience with vulnerability management, cybersecurity scanning tools, and cloud-hosted security practices
- Active Secret security clearance or higher, or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher per contract requirements
