Job Summary
Senior IS Application Coordinator for Epic Ambulatory. Responsible for acting as primary support contact, coordinating questions and issues for supported applications, managing change control, and providing 24-hour coverage for system users. Builds and analyzes software functionality, coordinates updates with vendors, mentors staff, and collaborates with stakeholders to enhance workflows in clinical and financial departments. Requires extensive Epic experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop procedures and train end users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Four years of certified Epic experience supporting an Epic or other applicable application
- Familiarity with processes in clinical or financial departments
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to develop and document internal procedures
- Experience mentoring less-experienced analysts/programmers
