Senior IQC inspector

Senior IQC Technician responsible for dimensional and visual inspections of purchased parts, assemblies, and products to verify incoming specifications prior to release to manufacturing. Trains and mentors new inspectors, conducts First Article inspections, can stand in for Supervisor, participates in production and engineering meetings to understand material needs (Manufacturing and R&D). Set up fixturing and operate CMMs (Zeiss) with Calypso software (required/desired), inspect with optical comparators and other metrology equipment, generate and review inspection results in 1Factory, create inspection history files, and release materials for production. Requires GD&T expertise, ability to interpret complex drawings, and provide guidance to engineers on measurement correlation. Knowledge of SAP, GMP, and standard inspection tools is preferred. Willingness to handle non-conforming reports and coordinate with QA and Suppliers; may involve some project management and mentorship responsibilities. Vaccination proof may be required depending on role.
