Job Summary
Senior iOS Engineer to join NYC-based Content Team and contribute to a native Swift Medal app for watching and sharing gaming clips. You will own big features, influence architecture and performance, and leverage analytics to evolve the product. Responsibilities include shipping high-quality iOS code, improving app performance, collaborating with backend teams, and maintaining CI workflows. Required: 5+ years iOS experience, strong Swift/UIKit/Foundation, REST API experience, analytics-driven development, and proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment. Nice-to-haves include SwiftUI, Objective-C, cross-platform (Android), and video/AVFoundation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an iOS engineer
- Deep UIKit, Foundation, and Swift knowledge
- Experience shipping a widely-used iOS native app
- Experience using REST APIs and working with backend teams
- Reactive programming experience
- Experience with analytics, testing, user feedback, and crash reports to inform development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in product ownership and driving broad product areas
- Ability to work autonomously in an iOS engineering team
