Job Summary
Senior iOS Engineer responsible for end-to-end delivery and ongoing improvement of CVS Health mobile apps. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, providing tooling support to engineering teams, driving solutions to reduce cost and time to market, coordinating production deployment with required teams, monitoring application health and KPIs, triaging production issues, troubleshooting data/features/service/platform issues, and advocating security best practices. The role includes mentoring fellow engineers in software design and development, contributing to security analyses, and supporting a shift-left approach with testing and automation (TDD, CI/CD, static analysis, code reviews). Required qualifications emphasize extensive experience in mobile iOS development and collaboration with cross-functional teams; preferred qualifications highlight expertise in automated testing, design systems, GraphQL, OAuth, and multiple tooling ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years experience with modern mobile development frameworks
- 5+ years experience working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, data teams to deliver great user experiences
- 5+ years experience in influencing large organizations on best practices in Mobile iOS development
- 3+ years of accessibility experience/Telemetry and observability experience
Desired Qualifications
- Strong desire to build in test from the start with TDD development experience
- Continuous delivery in mobile, code review, static analysis, continuous integration, automation, and functional testing (using Screenshot, Junit)
- Experience in handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with OAuth authenticated sessions
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with design systems libraries
- Experience with Firebase Cloud, CircleCI, Github actions
- Mentorship experience to guide junior developers
