Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications using Swift, Kotlin, and Java to connect technicians with HVACR tool data and diagnostics. Support the full application lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and monitoring, while integrating with cloud-based SaaS and DaaS platforms via RESTful APIs. Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability across devices, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate with Product, UX, and Cloud Engineering teams to deliver intuitive experiences. Improve mobile architecture, standards, and code quality through engineering best practices and Agile delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years developing mobile applications
- Strong experience developing native iOS and/or Android applications using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java
- Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services
- Knowledge of mobile data storage technologies such as SQLite, Room, Core Data, or similar frameworks
- Working knowledge of server-side technologies such as Go, Node.js, or Python
- Experience using Git, GitHub, code reviews, and modern source control workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience working in Agile software development environments

- Experience developing applications that integrate with SaaS or DaaS platforms
- Experience with AWS cloud environments and cloud-hosted applications
- Experience supporting AI-assisted or AI-first software development practices
- Experience developing AI-enabled mobile features or automation
- Experience with connected devices, IoT platforms, HVAC technologies, or field-service applications
