Job Summary
Prepare and review investment security analysis, income tax provisions, and allocations for partners. Train others on fund structures, reportable transactions, and tax return preparation using specialized software. Clear audit points and file federal and state returns on behalf of clients with local agencies. Apply incentive and management fees while managing partner expense items.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of Partnership tax experience
- Solid understanding of tax concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Understanding of mutual fund related tax code sections, forms and elections, and tax adjustments of securities

- Ability to understand financial statements and fund accounting reports and spreadsheets
- Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, recommend, and implement solutions for tax-related client issues
