The Senior Investment Officer is responsible for managing fee revenue producing investment accounts, focusing on high net worth personal trusts and other individual relationships. This role involves analyzing investment portfolios, developing client-specific investment strategies, ensuring diversification of Equity and Fixed Income segments, and monitoring performance to align with client objectives. Essential skills include a strong understanding of capital markets, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. The position requires knowledge of investment management principles, ethical considerations, and participation in business development activities to grow the investment portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
- Knowledge of investment and portfolio management theory
- Knowledge of investment terminology and regulations
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Sales and negotiating skills
