Senior Investment Manager Climate - India

Job Summary
Source and evaluate investment opportunities in Energy and Climate Tech by engaging with accelerators, founders, and ecosystem players globally. Conduct due diligence including commercial, operational, and impact analysis, then prepare materials for internal investment committee discussions. Lead deal structuring using equity and flexible capital instruments while building relationships with founders to support business strategy, fundraising, and impact measurement. Monitor portfolio financial and impact performance, contribute to reporting, and represent the firm at sector convenings. Execute hands-on portfolio management to drive financial returns and social outcomes across Seed to Growth stages.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, impact investing
- Deep technical and commercial understanding of Energy and Climate-tech sectors across the value chain
- Demonstrated track record in Energy and Climate-tech investments
- Ability to understand complex technologies, conduct detailed competitive evaluation and explain in easy manner to a wider audience
- Strong network of founders, co-investors, ecosystem players globally or regionally
- Highly motivated, resourceful, pro-active, critical thinker and entrepreneurial
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across cultures and stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
