Job Summary
Senior Investment Dealer responsible for ensuring best execution for Fixed Income trades in the UK, advising Investment Managers on trade timing and liquidity, sourcing liquidity across counterparties, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of High Yield markets, processing orders via the OMS, and operating within MiFID/SMCR requirements. Build strong relationships with Investment Managers, Risk, Compliance, Operations and external broker counterparties; support regulatory change initiatives and process improvements affecting Fixed Income execution.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of Fixed Income instruments, with depth in credit markets (including High Yield and less liquid credit)
- Proven experience delivering best execution across various market conditions
- In-depth knowledge of market mechanics, pricing, spreads and trading conventions relevant to credit markets
- High level of competence with Order Management Systems (OMS) and related trading controls
- Significant experience in an Investment Dealing / Trading role within Fixed Income credit markets
- Experience working with Investment Managers to advise on trade timing and liquidity considerations
- Experience operating within a highly regulated environment with MiFID, market conduct and internal control requirements
- Excellent communication skills to explain market conditions and execution outcomes
