Senior Investment Analyst

Job Summary
Provide structured financial analysis and insights across the investment lifecycle to support development and evaluation of business cases aligned with the Project Execution Model. Perform detailed financial analysis including scenario, sensitivity, and risk assessments while maintaining and updating investment data in Clarity to ensure accuracy. Support month-end close processes through consolidation and reconciliation, preparing reporting that highlights deviations, key drivers, and opportunities for cost optimization. Collaborate with project teams, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to validate financial assumptions against operational reality and escalate inconsistencies for corrective action. Monitor financial performance against business case expectations and contribute to post-investment reviews to drive continuous improvement. Report to a Director or above with up to 10% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field of study from an accredited university
- minimum of eight (8) years of experience within Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Capital Project Finance, Business Finance, Portfolio Management, Management Consulting, Strategic Finance
- Proven experience developing and evaluating complex business cases
- Strong expertise in Financial modeling, Capital investment analysis, Portfolio management, Strategic planning, Investment governance and Risk assessment
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Professional proficiency in English
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- In lieu of Master's Degree with eight (8) years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field of study from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience within Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Capital Project Finance, Business Finance, Portfolio Management, Management Consulting, Strategic Finance
- Experience from pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, engineering, or highly regulated industries
- Experience supporting large-scale capital investments and expansion programs
- Strong understanding of project management and capital project execution
- Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership and governance boards
- Experience with portfolio management tools and advanced analytics platforms
- MBA, CFA, or similar advanced qualification
