Job Summary
Senior Investment Advisor for Pension Services acts as the subject matter expert and primary investment liaison to Pension Clients. Responsibilities include attending investment and consulting meetings, maintaining and expanding client relationships, contributing to thought leadership through research papers and presentations, collaborating with portfolio management, relationship managers, and client service, and assisting in development of sales materials, RFPs, onboarding forms, and governance processes. The role involves reviewing performance reports, ensuring compliance with asset allocation models and Investment Policy Statements (IPSs), approving quarterly fee summaries and disclosures, and supervising the preparation and dissemination of pension plan performance reports across custodial platforms. Requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to lead presentations to groups, and a passion for investing with exceptional quantitative and deductive reasoning. Qualifications include 5+ years in Pension Services, 10+ years in relationship management with institutional clients, Series 7/66 or 63/65, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; CFP designation is a plus, CFA/MBA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Pension Services experience
- Strong pension municipality experience
- CFP designation a plus
- 10+ years of experience in relationship management, preferably with institutional clients
- Series 7, 66, or 63/65 registration
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields; CFA designation, master's degree, or MBA preferred
