Job Summary
Lead all criminal incidents involving employees, assets, and infrastructure while evaluating risks to protect personnel and critical infrastructures. Conduct independent investigations, gather evidence, and write reports used by Legal, HR, and law enforcement for disciplinary decisions or prosecution. Respond to active threats, secure scenes, and collaborate with local, state, federal, and international agencies. Identify emerging threats, perform risk assessments, and develop investigative plans to mitigate theft, sabotage, and organized retail crime. Manage logistics and provide executive protection for travel and special events. This field-based role requires 50% presence in the Los Angeles area and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Candidates must reside within 30 miles of downtown LA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Valid driver's license
- Experience recognizing and evaluating facts to objectively analyze situations
- Experience with Google Office Suite and MS Office Suite (Word, Docs, Excel, Sheets, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion
- Experience prioritizing multiple responsibilities and processing high volumes of work in a timely and accurate manner
- Experience writing investigative reports
- Ability to travel within LA territory up to 50% of the time
- Candidates must reside within 30 miles of downtown LA
Desired Qualifications
- CFI, CFE, CPP, LPQ, or LPC professional qualification
- Experience with corporate operations to include Retail, Network, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Fleet and all other applicable corporate functions
- Former law enforcement experience
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and matters
- Highly developed critical thinking and reasoning skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in order to write concise and factual investigative reports
- Ability to recognize and evaluate facts and objectively analyze situations
