Job Summary
Manage the Military Satellite Communications Inventory team and oversee daily activities supporting a key defence contract. Maintain accountability for the Public Stores Account, ensuring reporting accuracy and timely submission while promoting a data-driven mindset. Represent the team at project meetings and own inventory policies and processes, utilizing stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement and increase efficiencies. Provide Subject Matter Expert support to the team and collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and wider project departments. Manage stakeholder relationships with the MoD customer, reviewing data accuracy using Excel lookups and pivot tables. This full-time, 37-hour role is based at Hawthorn, Oakhanger, Devonport, or Bristol with hybrid working options.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Inventory/Supply Chain/Logistics Management experience within the Defence Sector
- Understanding of systems and knowledge relating to inventory management and material control
- The ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and customer
- Experience leading a team
- Excel experience in reviewing and manipulating the data, using look ups and pivot tables
- CILT level 3 or above or similar equivalent
- Leadership and management level 3 or above
- Security Clearance
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role
