Job Summary
Manage global trademark portfolios, including filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement. Conduct trademark searches, clearance, and risk assessments for international and domestic marks. Prepare and file applications, office action responses, and renewals with the USPTO and international offices. Coordinate with foreign associates on prosecution and enforcement matters worldwide. Assist attorneys with disputes, oppositions, and cancellations before the TTAB. Maintain databases and conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and licensing deals. Handle agreements including assignments and coexistence arrangements. Requires minimum 5 years of international trademark experience and proficiency in docketing systems. Hybrid schedule includes in-office days Tuesday through Wednesday plus one Thursday monthly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of international trademark paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of global trademark laws and procedures, including Madrid Protocol filings
- Experience managing large trademark portfolios and coordinating with foreign counsel
- Proficiency in trademark docketing systems and IP management software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Hybrid Schedule – Work in-office Tuesday & Wednesday + one Thursday per month
