Job Summary
Own the full benefits lifecycle for EMEA markets, including procurement, renewals, plan design, and vendor management. Partner with cross-functional teams to launch benefits in new EMEA countries, ensuring strong components from day one. Build and manage relationships with local brokers and carriers while tracking enrollment, utilization, and cost data to inform plan design. As the function matures, take increasing ownership of the benefits program operating cadence and cross-functional coordination. Work closely with Product, Legal, Payroll, and Customer Success to integrate benefits into broader international strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in international benefits
- deep knowledge of EMEA markets (UK, EU, and expansion markets)
- Experience with benefits procurement, renewals, broker/vendor management, and plan design in a multi-country environment
- Track record of supporting or leading benefits launches in new markets
- Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory environments as they relate to employee benefits and statutory requirements
- Experience managing broker and carrier relationships, including RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations
- Ability to analyze benefits data (enrollment, utilization, cost) and translate insights into recommendations
- Program or project management experience
- comfortable building processes, defining cadences, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch
- Strong communicator who can work effectively across time zones and cultures
