Job Summary
Own the full benefits lifecycle for EMEA markets, managing procurement, renewals, plan design, vendor/broker management, and employee support to ensure offerings are competitive, compliant, and locally relevant. Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Payroll, Product, and CX to launch benefits in new EMEA countries, directly ensuring a strong benefits component from day one. Build and manage relationships with local brokers, carriers, and benefits providers across the region while negotiating terms and evaluating plan options. Track enrollment, utilization, and cost data to inform plan design decisions and report on portfolio health. As the function matures, take increasing ownership of the benefits program operating cadence, cross-functional coordination, and process design to build the operating system for managing international benefits at scale.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in international benefits
- deep knowledge of EMEA markets (UK, EU, and expansion markets)
- Experience with benefits procurement, renewals, broker/vendor management, and plan design in a multi-country environment
- Track record of supporting or leading benefits launches in new markets
- Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory environments as they relate to employee benefits and statutory requirements
- Experience managing broker and carrier relationships, including RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations
- Ability to analyze benefits data (enrollment, utilization, cost) and translate insights into recommendations
- Program or project management experience
- comfortable building processes, defining cadences, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch
- Strong communicator who can work effectively across time zones and cultures
