Job Summary
The Senior Internal Control Specialist will drive ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement of OLG’s Internal Control Framework, including documenting, testing and reporting results of process controls and ICFR, supporting risk documentation and the Certificate of Assurance process, coordinating semi-annual sub-certifications, and educating staff on internal control responsibilities while staying current with industry practices and regulatory directives.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional accounting, audit or finance designation
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in the finance or audit and risk domain
- Experience in ICFR testing is an asset, along with exposure to IT audit or IT governance
