Job Summary
Senior Internal Auditor role reporting to the Manager of the Internal Audit Group within CCCI/John Holland, conducting complex internal audits from start to finish, preparing concise audit reports for senior management, identifying inherent risks and controls, applying risk-based thinking to propose pragmatic improvements, and contributing to the development of internal audit strategy and annual audit programs across the John Holland Group and, when needed, other CCCI subsidiaries. Role involves collaboration with customers, audit teams, external auditors and consultants, with travel as required; base location at Flinders Street offices in Melbourne, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Legal or Engineering
- CA/CPA accreditation
- CIA, CISA or equivalent
- Internal audit experience within construction, heavy industry or engineering sectors
- First/second/third line of defence assurance experience in projects, IT, business cycles, commercial, operations and governance
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally
- Conversational or business level Mandarin (preferred)
