Job Summary
Senior Internal Auditor role in Fischer Homes’ Finance and Accounting Department. Plan and execute internal audit engagements to evaluate governance, risk management, and internal controls; translate complex risks into actionable insights for management and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include analyzing risk across financial, operational, compliance, and technology processes; conducting walkthroughs and interviews; clearly communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations; monitoring remediation of audit findings; identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains; promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct; and performing additional duties as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years of progressive internal or external audit experience
- Experience leading audits with minimal supervision
- Understands audit standards and internal audit frameworks
