SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR

Job Summary
Senior Internal Auditor responsible for planning and executing internal audit engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls. Analyze risk across financial, operational, compliance, and technology processes; build relationships with business leaders; conduct walkthroughs and interviews; clearly communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to management; monitor remediation of audit findings and validate corrective actions; identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains; promote accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct. Preferred qualifications include CPA, CIA, or CISA. The role is based in Erlanger, KY with on-site responsibilities; must use standard office equipment and be able to sit for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years of progressive internal or external audit experience
- Experience leading audits with minimal supervision
- Understands audit standards and internal audit frameworks
