Job Summary
Senior Interior Designer needed for top boutique residential interior design firm. Involved in all phases of design projects from initial site survey to final installation; responsibilities include design development, FF&E specification (including fabrics), and project management. Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD to execute a full set of construction documents; experience with millwork design and details and knowledge of Studio Designer a plus. Candidate should align with the firm’s clean lined modern and classic aesthetic, be a sophisticated, team-oriented professional, and excel in a supportive, positive environment. Requires a degree in interior design and 8-10 years of residential design experience; strong written and verbal communication, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with vendors, consultants, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in interior design
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in residential design
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD with ability to execute a full set of construction documents
- Proficient in millwork design and details
- Knowledge of Studio Designer a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail & extremely organized
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Must be a self-starter who is capable of working independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, consultants, and clients
