Senior Interaction Designer - NPPV3 and UK SC

Job Summary
Senior Interaction Designer for a 6-month fixed-term contract (potential extension) leading at pace in complex delivery, focusing on Interaction Design at Beta stage within GDS projects. Acts as a trusted client liaison, guides design decisions with the UCD team, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to navigate complex stakeholders. Must have significant GDS experience, Beta-stage assessments, strong Figma skills (including Figma Make/AI tools), and eligibility for UK Security Clearance and NPPV3. Role supports public services with meaningful societal impact; remote or hybrid work option depending on location. Includes vetting and possible DBS check.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience with Interaction Design within GDS projects
- Proven involvement in GDS Assessments, ideally at Beta stage
- Demonstrable Experience with Figma
- Experience using Figma Make and/or other AI design tools
- Experience working within multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance and NPPV3
- Demonstrable experience working with complex stakeholder groups, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required.
- Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required.
