Job Summary
Senior Intelligence Oversight Trainer to support the National Guard Bureau J2 in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include conducting all-source intelligence analysis, providing analytic support across collections, investigations, and requirements; drafting and updating PUMs and DILRs; preparing training materials and memoranda for government review; coordinating inspections and staff visits; monitoring updates on IO policies; managing newsletters; maintaining contact rosters; updating IO continuity documentation; responding to information requests; delivering initial and annual refresher IO/NDAP training; contributing to CBTs and COI SharePoint resources; and performing quarterly reviews of IO-related files and systems.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a field relevant to the labor category from an agency-recognized college/university
- Or bachelor's degree with an additional 5 years of related senior experience for a total of 17 years in lieu of master's degree
- At least 12 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion performing relevant duties in the past 2 years
- Demonstrated mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursuit of developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
- Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of activities required to meet the mission
- In-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
- Experience with government and military intelligence oversight processes
- Ability to coordinate training and staff assistance visits
- Experience drafting training and memoranda for government review and distribution
